MLS Integrates Electric Vehicles into Sustainability Initiative

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, MLS has launched a significant step in its sustainability journey by introducing electric vehicles (EVs) into its transport operations starting June 2025. This move reflects the company’s strategic focus on reducing its carbon footprint and supporting cleaner urban logistics.

The introduction of EVs marks a milestone in MLS’s green initiatives, aimed at transitioning towards a more sustainable and energy-efficient delivery model. The company has begun a pilot program involving ten electric vehicles, which will operate across selected routes in Singapore. The pilot will evaluate the practicality and impact of EVs in real-world conditions, with a focus on driver experience, operational performance, and accessibility of commercial charging infrastructure.
By adopting EVs, MLS not only aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and lower noise pollution in urban areas, but also to future-proof its logistics operations in line with global environmental standards and Singapore’s Green Plan 2030.

This initiative is part of a broader sustainability project that includes exploring renewable energy solutions, optimizing delivery routes, and minimizing waste across operations.
